Computer Science is not dead
According to Research.com, Computer Science is (still) the best undergraduate major for a well-paying career, job satisfaction, and career stability. Here is the list. (The links are to the sections of the article that discuss each major.)

The list seems reasonable to me. However, it all *assumes* getting a bachelor's degree is a good thing to do at all, especially if you (or your parents) are not wealthy enough to pay for it. Going into debt for *any* bachelor's seems like a bad idea at the moment. My recommendation for most of the kids I meet is to go into a union-backed apprenticeship. These careers are also less likely to be displaced by AI in the medium term, as well. The fine-grained hand-based labor like plumbing and electrical wiring won't be doable by robots any time soon.
